  • Biography

    Previously worked at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and Oak Ridge National Laboratory in the United States, mainly engaged in cutting-edge and engineering research on advanced laser micromanufacturing methods, processes and equipment, which covers: laser and matter interaction mechanism, laser-enabled multi-energy processing, laser micro-nano additive manufacturing, laser hybrid manufacturing system design. I have published more than 30 papers, including first authored papers in top international journals, such as Light Science & Applications (Nature series), Advanced Science (Science series), Science Advances. I participated in a number of projects funded by the US National Natural Science Foundation and the U.S. Department of Energy. I was awarded the Supporting Performance Award from Oak Ridge National Laboratory. I am a member of the International Society for Optics and Photonics (SPIE), the Materials Research Society (MRS), and the Laser Association of America (LIA); and has served as a reviewer for more than a dozen international SCI journals.
