  • Biography

    His research interests include intelligent manufacturing, service-oriented manufacturing, and smart logistics. He received his bachelor's and doctoral degrees in engineering from the Department of Industrial Engineering at Tsinghua University. He is currently a Senior Member of IEEE, a Senior Member of IISE, a member of the IEEE Technical Committee on Sustainable Production and Automation (TC Member), a member of the IEEE Technical Committee on Digital Manufacturing and Human-centered Automation (TC Member), a commentator for Mathematical Reviews, an Associate Editor for IEEE Trans on Automation Science and Engineering, an Editorial Board Member for International Journal of Robotics and Automation Technology, and a Guest Editor for Mathematics. He is also a Senior Member of the Chinese Society of Mechanical Engineering, a Member of the Production System Professional Committee of the Chinese Society of Mechanical Engineering, a Member of the Group and Intelligent Integration Technology Branch of the Chinese Society of Mechanical Engineering, a Member of the Industrial Big Data and Intelligent Systems Branch of the Chinese Society of Mechanical Engineering, an Executive Director of the Behavioral Operations and Management Branch of the Chinese Operations Research Society, a Director of the Stochastic Services and Operations Management Branch of the Chinese Operations Research Society, and a Member of the Natural Computing and Digital Smart City Committee of the Chinese Society for Artificial Intelligence.


    He is a review expert of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, a review expert of the postgraduate dissertation of the Degree Center of the Ministry of Education, a review expert of the Beijing Natural Science Foundation of China, a young editor of the Industrial Engineering journal, and a member of the Postgraduate Dissertation Guidance and Review Committee of the Department of Industrial Engineering of Tsinghua University. He has won the Special Prize of the Science and Technology Award of the China General Chamber of Commerce, the Second Prize of the Wu Wenjun Artificial Intelligence Science and Technology Award, and the Third Prize of the China Machinery Industry Science and Technology Award. He has PI and co-PI over 6 National Natural Science Foundation projects and 6 Zhejiang Natural Science Foundation projects. He has published more than 60 SCI/EI-indexed papers, including 1 ESI highly cited paper. His research results have been included in international academic journals such as EJOR, TS, TRC, ANOR, Omega, IJPR, IEEE TASE, COR and Service Science.
