  • Biography

    Jiefan Qiu, Professor and Ph.D. supervisor. I received my Ph.D. in Institute of Computing Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2014. During 2016-2018, I served in Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China for intelligent system development. I has hosted National Natural Science Foundation project, Zhejiang Provincial Natural Science Foundation projects,  National Key Research and Development Program, and Chinese Academy of Sciences’ Pioneer Research Plan, etc. I has published more than 40 papers in IEEE JSAC, IEEE TFS, IEEE IoTJ, IEEE JBHI, IEEE Sensor J, ACM TOMM, Neural Networks, JCST, PPNA, IEEE BIBM, IEEE MSN, etc. I leads the ZJUTDeus team (focused on robot control) and the Wu team (focused on AI large models + robots). In the past three years, I has guided students to win 13 National first prize (including 9 national champions, 1 runner-up, and 1 third place), and 2 second prizes in the Chinese Robot Competition. I was awarded the titles of Excellent Class Teacher, Excellent Mentor, and Excellent instructor in the Chinese Robot Competition multiple times.

    Currently, my research team focus on the forefront of the Internet of Things and artificial intelligence fields, including Wireless Sensing (vital-sign radar), Embodied Intelligence, Large Model in Edge Computing.
