Yaokejian

Prof. Yao is the Second Class Professor of Zhejiang University of Technology, who awarded lots of honored titles, e.g. State Council Expert for Special Allowance, National Excellent Teacher, Provincial 151 First level talent of Zhejiang, engaged in the area of chemical engineering for 40 years. He has made outstanding contributions in teaching reform, scientific research and transformation of scientific research achievements. In teaching reform, he insisits in bold innovation, determined reformation, and creating computer-aided teaching, and obtained one national and one provincial teaching awards. As editor-in-chief, he published a number of electronic textbooks which were apllied in dozens of domestic colleges and universities and well recognized as the leading level in China. He was honoured with 5 provincial and ministerial awards for scientific achievements. He published about 180 academic articles, in which more than 70 times indiced by SCI & EI, 6 textbooks and monograph. His representative achievements of DJ series of high efficiency and energy saving separation technology has been successfully applied to more than 500 units in oil refining, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, chemical fertilizer, fine chemical industry, by which billions of direct economic benefits for the country were created, the progress of chemical technology were promoted, and the social benefits of energy saving and emission reduction and environmental protection were performed.
