  • Biography

    Outstanding undergraduate and graduate students with backgrounds in materialization, materials, organic and theoretical computing are welcome to join this research group to pursue degrees.

     

    Dr. Guokai Cui, male, born in September 1984, is a specially appointed researcher and doctoral supervisor of the Canal Youth Scholars at Zhejiang University of Technology. He is also a member and deputy secretary-general of the Ionic Liquids Professional Committee of the Chinese Chemical Society; Professional member of the Chinese Chemical Society, senior member of the Chinese Chemical Society, member of the Chinese Particle Society, and senior member of the Chinese Micron and Nanotechnology Society; The main members of the Industrial Catalysis Teacher Team (led by Li Xiaonian) of the third batch of Huang Danian style teacher teams in national universities. Main research content: ionic liquids, thermodynamics, functional solvents and materials, adsorption and catalysis of small molecule gases, air pollution control, carbon capture and conversion; At Chem Soc. Rev., J. Am. Chem Soc., Angelw Chem Int. Ed., Chem Eng. J. and other influential domestic and foreign journals have published more than 60 papers (he cited more than 2500 times). H-factor 26. Hosted 7 vertical and horizontal projects, including 3 funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, 1 key research and development project in Zhejiang Province, and 1 funded by the Natural Science Foundation of Henan Province. I have been invited multiple times to give keynote speeches or invitation presentations at international and domestic authoritative conferences in the fields of Ionic Liquids and Green Processes, Thermodynamics and Thermal Analysis, and CO2 Resource Utilization. Received the Outstanding Young Scholar Award from the Thermodynamics and Thermal Analysis Professional Committee of the Chinese Chemical Society (2014), the Youth Innovation Award from the Ionic Liquids Professional Committee of the Chinese Chemical Society (2017), and the Outstanding Organizational Individual Award from the 6th National Ionic Liquids and Green Processes Academic Conference (2023). Selected for the 14th Five Year Plan High level Talent Cultivation Program of Zhejiang University of Technology (2022). Served as the Youth Editorial Board Member of the Journal of Process Engineering, the Youth Editorial Board Member of the Journal of Petrochemical Universities, the Youth Editorial Board Member of Low Carbon Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, the Youth Editorial Board Member of Green Carbon, the Editorial Board Member of Molecules, and the Review Editorial Board Member of Frontiers in Energy Research. Also served as the Secretary General of the 6th National Ionic Liquids and Green Processes Academic Conference of the Chinese Chemical Society. Also served as the National Undergraduate Thesis (Design) of the Degree and Graduate Education Development Center of the Ministry of Education Experts from the Expert Database for Sampling and Evaluation, Communication Evaluation Experts from the National Natural Science Foundation of China, Communication Evaluation Experts from the Provincial Natural Science Foundation of China, Experts from the Academic Bridge Expert Database of the Talent Development Professional Committee of the China Education Development Strategy Society, and Experts from the Environmental Engineering Technology Think Tank of Zhejiang Construction Vocational College.
